Battle
Restores a Soltokemon's HP in battle.
Brings back a fainted Soltokemon.

Salty Satoshi's tuned-up rod. Stand at the water's edge and tap the ๐ฃ button to cast - reel in a fish before it shakes the hook, then take it to Salty to open for oysters.

Basic bait. Hooks small fish. Consumed each cast.

A root-bound strongbox the Solroot Warden drops on your first clear of the day. OPEN it from your Bag for a random haul from the Depths: usually gear materials or Ether Shards, sometimes junk, and with luck a rare Mutagen or Helix Spinner.
A barnacled strongbox Aphotis, the Drowned Warden, drops on your first clear of the day. OPEN it from your Bag for deep-sea forge loot: abyssal ore and a leviathan scale, sometimes two, and with luck a Helix Spinner.

Mutations
how mutations work โUse on a Soltokemon of level 15+ to add ONE random mutation in an empty slot (max 4 per creature). Mutations grant bonuses (stat boost, +damage vs a type, vs wild, vs trainers). Obtained by opening a Warden's Chest (dropped by the Solroot Warden), or bought from other players on the Item Exchange.
๐ How to get: Dr. Helix gifts your first one. After that it drops from the Solroot Warden (co-op dungeon boss) or is traded on the $STKM Marketplace - no longer sold for coins. Usable on a Soltokemon of level 15+.
Use on a Soltokemon of level 15+ to RE-ROLL all its mutations at once: each one is REPLACED with a new random mutation. It does NOT clear or remove them - mutations are always positive buffs, so you keep the same number of slots, just freshly rolled. Greater chase = greater risk: 4 mutations means 4 re-rolls in one shot. A rare find inside a Warden's Chest, or traded on the Item Exchange.

A corroded old Ethereum coin. Worthless here - nobody trades in it anymore. Hiker Bob swore it was 'cursed'.

A root-carved sigil earned deep in the Solroot Depths. Hold it and the Warden's Chamber opens for you - and for any friend at your side who lacks their own.
The one true key the Solroot Depths cast, glowing green-gold like the Warden's door. Show it to the Chamber Monk and the way opens. Yours to keep - or to sell.

Upgrade materials

A frosted shard of tide-polished glass. A mid-tier upgrade reagent: SWIM out into the sea off Degen Beach and win it from the wild creatures there. You need the swim ability first - topple the Ethereum Spire to free Solana City, then the Goddess grants it. Spent to push gear from +3 to +4.
